Floors / Pasera

Intervention in Montemayor (Córdoba, Andalusia). This town is surrounded by “paseras”, places where grapes are dried to become raisins. Wearing straw hats, the “paseros” spread the grapes on the ground to let them dry. After three days, the grapes are turned over to be processed into sweet Pedro Ximénez-style wine.

The Picnic Blanket

The intention of this project is to temporarily conquer public space to use it as a common meeting place. For this reason, I'm producing these picnic blankets with the "Pasera" pattern, to encourage a classic habit that is disappearing.

The fabric is produced in the Basque Country, and my colleagues from Top Manta Barcelona manufacture them.
For sustainability reasons, I am producing them upon request.
