Floors / Amada

When I finished working on this artistic intervention, I found out my mother had been diagnosed with Creutzfeld-Jakob disease - a rapidly degenerative condition with no cure. That day, our family and friends began a heartbreaking journey void of hope, accompanying her as best we could. Her colour remains in our memory. We did well.
